What is a full mouth rehabilitation?

The loss of multiple teeth, broken fillings, fractured teeth, tooth wear, or a combination of these, can lead to problems with biting, chewing and poor appearance.

When most or all the teeth require restoration or replacement, a full mouth rehabilitation (or reconstruction as it is sometimes called) is carried out.

This calls on specialist skills in Prosthodontics.

At Sorriso Dentistry, we start with a comprehensive examination and then collate diagnostic information.

This enables us to carry out a “tooth by tooth assessment” and to then look at the teeth, jaw joints and associated muscles as a whole, to evaluate and understand any underlying problems with your bite.

We then present you with a full and thorough treatment plan, inviting you to attend for a further complimentary consultation thereafter to answer any questions you may have.

Rehabilitations often require most or all the teeth to be restored with a combination of veneers, crowns, onlays, dental implants and dental bridgework.

We at Sorriso Dentistry have the experience and expertise to bring together the various advanced dental disciplines (gum treatments, whitening teeth, straightening teeth, repairing worn or broken teeth and replacing missing teeth) to create full mouth reconstructions that look beautiful and healthy, function correctly, provide comfort and stability, and will last for many years to come.
